I definitely bought this book because of the dogs, however, missed a pug character.  Engaging and fun book reading about a pack of dogs who are suddenly capable of complex thought.

Pepper disagrees with the "suddenly capable" bit, she believes all dogs are born capable of the most, more so than humans 😂
